JIM "FLASH" MITEFF 1933-1999 - Flash Productions, LLC
Enter

Flash Productions, LLC was created to showcase the unique photographic style of Jim "Flash 1%er" Miteff. FLASH had one passion in life; motorcycles. He rode them, built them, restored them, collected them, exhibited them and he photographed them.  Jim did not take photographs quite like anyone else. Using a vintage Speed Graphic press camera he shot over 700 photographs. This was not the way photography was being done in the 1960's. While Jim was shooting in black and white with this complex camera, other photographers were using the new 35 mm format and taking color photos. The result is a collection of photographs with amazing detail and character taken with a unique style that was all his own.

The 4x5 negatives that make up the collection of Jim's work have been stored away for the last 40 years! Few people have ever even seen these pictures until now. Jim's daughter, Beverly, has decided to make these rare photographs available for others to enjoy. Whether you have an appreciation for motorcycles, vintage photography or just for cultural history of the 1960's itself, these photographs are a real treasure.
